From New York City
Approximately 2 hours 15 minutes without traffic. Take I-87 N (NY Thruway) to Exit 19 (Kingston). From Kingston, take NY-28 W for about 22 miles. Turn right onto Main Street in Phoenicia. The lot is on your left after the diner.
From Albany
Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. I-87 S to Exit 19 (Kingston), then NY-28 W as above.
From New Jersey / Philadelphia
Take I-287 or the Palisades Parkway to I-87 N, then as above. Expect heavy traffic on the Tappan Zee Bridge on Saturday afternoons.
By Train
Amtrak Empire Service to Rhinecliff-Kingston (RHI). From the station, it’s about a 40-minute drive to Phoenicia. Taxis and Ubers are available but not abundant — arrange ahead.
By Bus
Trailways runs from Port Authority (NYC) to Phoenicia directly. The stop is the corner of Main Street and Plank Road, two blocks from the start. Schedule changes seasonally — check trailwaysny.com.
